We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Asphalting Operative

Location: Nigeria

Summary

The Asphalting Operative supports asphalt-laying operations including surface preparation, tack-coat application, paving and rolling to achieve specified thickness, density and surface finish on Jamub Group's road projects.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with paver/roller operators and the batching plant on mix delivery timing to avoid cold joints and delays.
Comply with all HSE protocols, wear required PPE at all times, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards, near-misses or incidents promptly to the Site Engineer/HSE Officer.
Support asphalt paving and rolling operations to achieve specified thickness, density and surface finish.
Prepare road surfaces and apply tack coat evenly ahead of asphalt paving.
